ROUND ROCK, Texas (April 23, 2026) 鈥 51福利社鈥檚 Master of Physician
Assistant Studies (MPAS) program in Round Rock, Texas, has been ranked by OnlineMasters.com,
a leading authority on accredited online graduate education, as one of the Best Online
Physician Assistant (PA) Master鈥檚 Programs for 2026.
鈥淲e are honored to be included in this ranking,鈥 said Dr. Catherine Paden, provost
and vice president for academic affairs at FPU, whose undergraduate residential campus
is located in Rindge, New Hampshire. 鈥淔PU鈥檚 PA Program in Round Rock, Texas prepares
students with exceptional hands on, clinical training in a hybrid environment.鈥
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for physician assistants is
expected to grow 20 percent in the next decade, faster than average for other professions.
This is attributed to the high need for medical professionals in underserved areas
as well as attrition due to retirement and other factors.
FPU鈥檚 24-month hybrid MPAS program, based at the University鈥檚 graduate center in Round
Rock, Texas, was established in 2024. FPU also has a 24-month hybrid MPAS program
based at its graduate center in Goodyear, Arizona, and a 27-month, in-person (or 鈥渙n-ground鈥)
MPAS program located at its graduate center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Students in
the hybrid programs receive in-person, clinical training experiences at one of FPU鈥檚
Texas or Arizona hubs, or one of the University鈥檚 partner sites elsewhere in the U.S.
The hybrid format allows students the benefit of completing the 24-month program without
having to relocate during the pre-clinical year.
